For the sake of completeness, I've decided that I'm slowly going to finish the damn blog (even though it's more than a month overdue) and put up all those awesome pictures!!! (as well as take a nice trip down memory-japan...) so as to extend my already extended summer break!!! (let's hope I don't break my promise this time...)

Nikko - Totemo kirei desu!!! (Japan Days 2&3)

One word: Wow. I'd seen photos of Shinkyo and of the temples, but wow... (more to come later when I stop being lazy.)

Tokyo - Day 1

Where to begin... woke up two hours earlier than planned -_-;; (damnèd jetlag grr) but we still ended up leaving the house an hour later than we'd said last night.. anywho... first thing... bus to Hibarigaoka station, and then took the train to Shibuya. First impression of the city: wow... wow... wow... impressive... hard to describe... (-_- just see the photos).

Then we went to Sensô -ji (temple)... Apparently I'm going to have bad fortune (I hope it stays tied to the bars though... i t worked like this: I shook a stick out of closed can-like thing... the stick has the number of a drawer on it: then you take your fortune from the drawer. There are several types - I can't remember how many... only that I seemed to be destined to bad fortune. Therefore, so as it prevent it from "following me", I tied it to some bars at the temple... but not before taking a picture- more on this in Nikko chapter) After my struggle with fate we walked around senso-ji and Mana bought these lamp-like plant thingies (see the red thing she's holding in one of the pictures) We had lunch around the temple area (i had sushi; a type that's served with the "toppings" all together over rice in a bowl... I'll look for the name at some point...)

After lunch we took the metro toyeah... I'm tired... really tired... and tomorrow we're going (overnight trip) to Nikko... I'll finish the post and put pictures up when we get back!!!

Arrival in Tokyo!!!

Meh... i'm too lazy to write anything now... I'm safe and sound at mana's (yay! celebrations!).. end.... so instead I'll put up a picture of mana and pansy and one of tokyo... enjoy

Frankfurt airport...

Here I am, ´stranded´ at frankfurt... stupid interenet is like... one cent/sec... it´s insane... anywho... almostboarding time, managed to buy the damn phrasebook I´d been looking for... definitiely not looking foorward to that 11-12 hour flight (although it seems que las azafatas van de kimono) anywho.. no more money left... next post from japan...

Let the blogging commence!!

I've decided to give the whole "travel-blog" thing a try... and no better trip to start with than Japan!!!... leaving tomorrow midday... Madrid- Frankfurt (then 4-5 hours stranded in Frankfurt), and then a glorious Frankfurt- ときょ(Tokyo) flight with the trip clocking at a wondrous 18 hours!!
Let's hope I survive...
